Leominster - Margaret "Peggy" Belle (Ussrey) Lacas, 96, of Leominster, died July 10, 2021, at home with family by her side. She was born August 7, 1924, in Leominster, daughter of the late Luther and Margaret M. (Geary) Ussrey. Peggy had worked as a spinner at a woolen mill in her early years and later as a molder at Nypro, which she retired from. She loved to roller skate and enjoyed cross word puzzles. She loved and cared for many cats over the years.
Peggy raised a wonderful family, which consists of, two sons; Norman Lacas of Fitchburg, Robert Gerard Lacas of Leominster and his wife Karen. Her grandchildren; David Robert Lacas of Georgia and his wife Lynn, and their son Jacab Lacas, Zoe May Penston of California and her husband George, and their children, Isabelle Penston and Owen Penston.
She also leaves behind many others who she held dear to her heart.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband Norman Henry Lacas.

A committal service for Peggy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021, at the Pieta Chapel in St. Joseph's Cemetery, 486 Clarendon St., Fitchburg, MA. There are no calling hours.
