Maria Abelino

Maria Abelino, 75, died March 6, 2026, in Odd Fellows Home, Worcester, after an illness.  She was born September 24, 1950, in Juncos, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Silvano Marquez and Felicita Gomez Marquez.

Maria is survived by her husband, Wilson Abelino, of Fitchburg, three daughters; Cathy Rivera, Caroline Marquez and Brenda Rivera, all of Fitchburg, three brothers; Efrain Agosto of Fitchburg, Natividad Marquez, Eduardo Marquez and one sister: Anna Alvarez of Puerto Rico, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her son Jesus Rivera, three brothers; Jose Gomez, Jose Marquez and Jesus Marquez.

Maria will have calling hours Friday, March 13, 2026, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, MA, and again on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, 357 Main Street, Leominster, MA.
