Obituary
Fitchburg - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mario Bratkon, 76, of Fitchburg, who died on May 20, 2023. He was born July 4, 1946, in Leominster, MA, son of the late Alexander and Theresa (Lanza) Bratkon. Mario proudly served in the US Army, Co C 1 BN, attaining Rank of Sp4, while in Germany. He was the owner of Mario's Auto in Fitchburg for over 30 years.
Mario leaves behind one son: Jamie Bratkon, his fiancee, Kerri Frost, her son Owen Frost, his grandson, Antonio Bratkon, his sister; Jane (Bratkon) Lastella and her husband Tony Lastella,
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Donna (Kirkwood) Bratkon and his son Marcus Bratkon.
Mario was known and loved by many. He was a wonderful father, loving husband and great friend.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, is directing arrangements.
