Mary M. (O'Connor) Lanza

Leominster - Mary M. (O'Connor) Lanza, 100, of Leominster, died January 31, 2022, in UMass Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.   She was born December 25, 1921, in Fitchburg, MA, daughter of the late Corneleus B. and Mary A. (Kimpton) O'Connor.  Mary was a graduate of Fitchburg High School.  She worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone,  She enjoyed playing cards, watching Ted Turner TV and Hallmark TV. She was also an avid reader.  Mary and her husband Angelo, owned and operated Captain House Buffet, (which consisted of Italian and American food), and Guesthouse in South Yarmouth, MA for many years.  

Mary was predeceased by her husband of over 40 years, Angelo Lanza, who died July 18, 1992.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
