Leominster - Mildred M. DelBove (Kullmann) 91, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2023, in the Rose Monahan Hospice House in Worcester, MA with her family by her side. She was born in Fitchburg, MA and was the daughter of John and Ella (Hergert) Kullmann.
Millie was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Pasquale L. DelBove and her siblings, John Kullmann, Kenneth Kullmann, Ruth Kullmann, Pauline Reynolds, Kathleen DiPasquale, Phyllis DiConza, and Shirley Shaw.
Millie was employed by Foster Grant Co. for many years. Her final and most fulfilling employment was as a Certified Home Health Aide for VNA Care where for over 15 years she provided compassionate in home assistance to senior citizens of Leominster and Fitchburg until her retirement in 2001.
She raised her children with a firm but loving hand instilling kindness, a strong work ethic, and strong family ties in them. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She rarely missed a dance recital, baseball or basketball game, or a grandparents day at school. She was generous to a fault.
Millie is survived by her son Robert DelBove and his husband Frederick Doherty of Canton, MA, her daughter Patricia and husband Joseph LaGrassa of Sterling, MA, grandchildren Adam LaGrassa and Emily Heisig and great grandchildren Stella and Benjamin LaGrassa, and several nieces and nephews.
In respect of her wishes there are no funeral services. We will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 12 noon at Brady’s, 37 Mechanic St., Leominster for family and close friends.
