Leominster - Normand J.E. LeBlanc, 87, died on March 21st. 2022 at the Life Care Center in Leominster, MA. He was born on July 14th, 1934, in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, Canada, the first son of Joseph O. LeBlanc and Rita (Belliveau) LeBlanc.
He is survived by sisters; Florence O’Malley of Clinton and Marie Freda of Leominster. He is predeceased by his brothers; J. Paul LeBlanc of Leominster and J. Gerard LeBlanc of Lancaster, who also passed away last weekend, step sister Geraldine Brideau and his step-mother Irene (Bedard) LeBlanc.
After his service to the United States Army, Normand worked for UMass Medical in Worcester as a supply manager and pharmacy technician. Normand was a devoted catholic who enjoyed gardening and watching hockey. He was also known for preparing a few of his family’s Canadian favorites like poutine and fricot. He will be greatly missed by his family.
A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic Street, Leominster, on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
