Oscar was the captain and heart and soul of the Wallace Civic Center Oldtimers which morphed into the Bud Light Olde Knights hockey team. Oscar played in tournaments throughout the United States and Canada.
Oscar and his wife Cheryl were instrumental in running the Bud Lights Olde Knights annual hockey tournament. Teams from across Canada and the Northeast US came to Fitchburg with Oscar greeting them with his big smile and welcome hug and made sure that everyone enjoyed the hockey games but equally important was that they had fun.
