Patricia A. (Mahan) Pinder

Leominster - Patricia A. (Mahan) Pinder, 82, of Leominster, died March 23, 2023 in Heatlh Alliance Leominster Hospital.  She was born January 31, 1941, daughter of the late Arthur and M. Kathryn (Cronan) Mahan.  She was a graduate of Leominster High School, Class of 1958.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Fitchburg State College and went of to receive her Master's Degree in Education. Patricia taught Special Education in Elementary School and High School . She was a member of the Democratic City Committee for many years, Chairman of Ward 4 and a member of St. Leo's Parish.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and time outdoors in her back yard watching the animals and birds.  Pat enjoyed watching all sports on TV.  She especially loved spending time at the ocean.

She is survived by her daughter; Diana M. Pinder of Leominster, brother in law and sisters in law; Jack and Linda Pinder and Ann B. Mahan.  She also leaves her good friend and caregiver Cindy Duval.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband; Benjamin Pinder Jr. in 2018, her brother; John P. Mahan and her sister Barbara E. Aubuchon.

Patricia's funeral will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster.  Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 28th, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA.
