Phyllis E (Tessier) DiPrima

 Leominster- Phyllis E. (Tessier) DiPrima, 90, of Leominster died November 14, 2019, in Manor on the Hill, Leominster. She was born July 30, 1929, in Leominster, daughter of the late Armand and Doris (Legere) Tessier. Phyllis was Pro Shop Manager at Monoosnock Country Club and she was a member of Central Mass Women's Golf League achieving A Division. After retiring from managing the golf pro shop she ventured into her second career at age 62 and began working as a crisis worker at Lipton Mental Health for 20 years. She was always willing to help people with affirming their positive attributes to achieve their personal best. She was also founder of Slender Body exercise salon which opened in 1987 and developed 15 franchised operations from Massachusetts to Oregon.She was an incredible sports enthusiast. She loved the Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. You could often find Phyllis spending time and caring for her grandchildren. She adored her great grandchildren—Ayla, TJ, and Jamie. Phyllis is survived by a son, William Allen of Leominster and two daughters; Paula DiPerri of Sterling, MA and Jane Lapointe of Gardner, along with grandchildren; Melissa Feller, Megan Dempsey, Mario Di Perri, Danielle Lapointe and Andrew Iannuzzi. Her husband Philip DiPrima is precedeased in 1991 and her precious and beloved Dog Suzette was predeceased.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc.,109 West St., Leominster. A calling hour will precede the service friday morning from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg.
