Phyllis Catherine (Cormier) Martin, age 65, passed away on November 6, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Larry Martin, who was her constant companion and best friend. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara Cormier.
She is survived by her husband Larry, her sisters Doloris Nowlan, Karen Sanchez, her brother Ivan Cormier and a large and loving extended family including 21 nieces and nephews, 32 great-nieces and nephews as well as 7 God children.
Phyllis found her greatest joy in spending time with her family—whether at gatherings, celebrations, or cheering on her nieces and nephews at their many sporting events and accomplishments. Her love for animals was evident to all who knew her; she shared her life with countless beloved pets over the years, including dogs, cats, and her many farm animals
One of Phyllis’s favorite places was her cabin, where she enjoyed peaceful days with Larry and their dogs, surrounded by nature, family and the friendship of her neighbors Kevin and Angela. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her devotion to family, and the warmth she brought to every life she touched.
She is predeceased by her brother Gary, her nephews Paul, Casey, and Scott her sister-in-law Carol and brother-in-law Paul, her mother-in-law Jeanette, her sisters-in-law Nicole and Carmen, and her brother-in-law Roland.
A Graveside service will be held Thursday November 20, 2025 at 11:00 am in Saint Cecilia’s Cemetery, Florence Street, Leominster, to celebrate Phyllis’s life and the joy she brought to so many.
