Leicester - Ralph A Marrone, 72, after a long battle with cancer, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 28 surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda (Brosseau) Marrone, his daughter Kelly McDonald and her husband Aaron of Leicester, his son Keith Marrone of Land o lakes FL, sister Cindi (Marrone) Marquis and her husband Paul of York, ME, his brother Thomas Marrone and his wife Lori of Wamauma, FL, his granddaughters Caitlyn Varnum and Jenna Prokopowich and several nieces and nephews.
Ralph graduated from Leominster High School, made a successful career at Digital Equipment Corp, followed by many years at Schott Solar and spending his retirement years at Home Depot in both Leominster and Ft Myers, FL.
Besides being an avid admirer and collector of all things VW Bug, he loved spending time with his beloved family, trips to Hawaii and Disney World and anywhere else he could enjoy a beautiful sunshine filled day.
