Raymond W. Houle

Lunenburg - Raymond W. Houle, 86, of Lunenburg, died August 18, 2023, in River Terrace, Lancaster, with his family by his side.  He was born in Fitchburg, MA on February 28, 1937, son of the late Adelard and Laura (Gaudet) Houle. Raymond served in the US Air Force,1955 through 1958, receiving rank of A/2C.  Mr. Houle worked as a carpenter at Ft. Devens for 30 years.  He was a member of St. Cecilia's Parish.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia (White) Houle, of Lunenburg, three sons; Robert Houle of Westminster, Charles Houle and his wife Stacy of Florida, Anthony Houle and his wife Lindsey of Leominster, four daughters; Patricia Lancey and her husband Kim of Leominster, Susan Lanciani and her husband David of Leominster, Dorothy Houle of Lunenburg and Laura Blaney and her husband Jamie of Lunenburg, along with grandchildren; Kirk, Sarah, Michael, Alexis, Avery, Sophia, Matthew, Alora, Cameron, Aaron, Noah and great grandchildren; Orion, Amelia, Colbi, Vincent and Summer Moon.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Roger Houle.

Raymond's funeral will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic Street, Leominster.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery.  A Calling hour will be held Saturday morning 9:30 - 10:30 am, prior to the funeral,  in the funeral home.
