Rita Lortie Obituary
Leominster - Rita Y. Lortie, 90, of Leominster, died October 8, 2018, in The Highlands, Fitchburg. She was born June 16, 1928, in Leominster, daughter of the late Alphonse and Heloise (Houle) Lortie. Rita worked as a stitcher at the former R & M Mfg., Co. and later at Cluet-Peabody. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Parish.
Rita is survived by two brothers; Andre Lortie of Florida and Eugene Lortie of Virginia, one sister; Constance Roy of Gardner, MA and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by brothers; Gerard Lortie, Paul Lortie, Henry Lortie, and Lionel Lortie, and sisters; Alice Courtemarche, Irene Best, and Theresa Poulin.
Rita's Funeral will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic Street, Leominster.
