Robert J. Arsenault

Leominster - Robert J. (Bob) Arsenault, 89, of Leominster, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 surrounded by loved ones in his home. He was born April 10, 1934 in Leominster to the late Honore and Eva (Melanson) Arsenault.

Bob was a veteran of the U.S Air Force, serving his time during the Korean Conflict.

He was a master electrician. After running his own electrical contracting business, he retired from Tufts University as the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.

Throughout his life, Bob was very active in the square dancing community, serving as a Caller for several local clubs. In his free time, he also enjoyed golfing, bowling, flying his plane, and riding his motorcycle.

Bob was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Rena (Anderson) Arsenault, who passed October 30, 2019. Bob is survived by his son, Timothy Arsenault and his wife Cheryl, his daughter, Pamela Flory and her husband Sean, his four grandchildren: Jonathan Arsenault and his wife Donna, Patrick Flory, Matthew Flory, and Michaela Moran and her husband Ryan, and lastly his five great grandchildren: Parker, Eva and Henry Arsenault, Carolina-Rae Flory, and Kinsley Moran.

Bob was loved by many during his life.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 19th, from 4:00 - 7;00 pm, in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA.  A private cemetery burial will be on Friday, October 20th. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local veterans’ organizations
