Leominster - Ronald N. Goyette, 91, of Leominster, died June 30, 2025 in Fitchburg Healthcare, Fitchburg, MA. He was born April 22, 1934, in Winchendon, MA, son of the late Nelson and Irene (Upton) Goyette. Mr. Goyette had worked as a Supervisor for the Department of Social Security for 40 years and then as a case worker in nursing homes.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War attaining rank of A/2C.
Ronald is predeceased by his wife Joan Blank Goyette.
He is survived by his son Jared Goyette and granddaughter Ceci Goyette.
Ronald had 11 siblings Charlie Upton (dec), David Goyette, Nancy Goyette (dec), Gordon Goyette (dec), Basil Goyette (dec), Bruce (dec), Sharon Uusitalo, Gary Goyette (dec), Gail Bills, Mark Manseau, and Scott Manseau.
Ron enjoyed growing up with his large family in Winchendon, Massachusetts.
He played the trumpet in his high school band and in the Air Force Band. He loved going to orchestra concerts. He enjoyed friendly games of croquet and golf with family members.
Ronald loved getting together with friends over coffee and talk about current events. He had a great sense of humor and love to joke and pun.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA.
A committal service with Military Honors will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA
