Stephanie E Matthews

Gardner - Stephanie Elizabeth Matthews, 61, of Gardner, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA after a long illness. She was born on July 11,1963 in Leominster, MA, the daughter of Joseph C. Alphonse Matthews, Jr. and Renda Bernice (Baron) Matthews.

Stephanie was passionate about her family and the successful business she founded and ran for years.  She also loved her beautiful flower gardens and proudly displayed them on social media.  She was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and seldom missed watching a game.  Her other pleasures included cooking and making people laugh.

She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Renda Matthews, her sister Jennifer Matthews, and her beloved son  Adam Matthews.  Stephanie is survived by her longtime partner Steven LeBlanc, her children Adrianna LeBlanc and Tanner LeBlanc, both of  Gardner, her sister Michelle Romo of Menifee, CA and her brothers Joseph Matthews of Leominster and Mark Matthews of Dudley, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Stephanie's funeral will be held from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic Street, Leominster, MA.  Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 16th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in the funeral home.
