Susan Skehan (Nicoll) was graciously called to heaven by God on January 19, 2025 in the arms of family and faith. As the sun came up she took her last peaceful breath. She had battled worsening health issues since her beloved husband Bryan Skehan died in 2023.
Susan was the daughter of Yula Gibson(Miller) & David Nicoll, born October 13, 1951 in Leominster, MA where she spent her life creating a beautiful family of her own and a home she took pride in hosting her family and friends within.
Susan felt the love of the Lord strongly and shared that love with those around her. She loved having game nights with friends and family, holiday gatherings, girls trips to the beach, and trips to the casino. Susan strongly believed in supporting causes such as World Vision and St. Jude’s. She adored her grandchildren and took many family vacations with them and her children. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.
Susan was the loving wife of Bryan Skehan who predeceased her in 2023. Susan has joined her devoted husband and her older brother Wayne Nicoll in heaven. She is survived by her brother David Gibson. Susan leaves behind her children Ronald Skehan and his fiancé Lori Fiandaca, Sherri Gerry and her husband Timothy, and Kate Rouse and her husband Andrew. She also leaves grand children Alyssa Sartelle and her husband Avery, Tyler Gerry, Ronald Skehan Jr, Christopher Skehan, and Finnegan Rouse, as well as great grandchildren Aulliver and Addison Sartelle, who she adored.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 357 Main Street, Leominster on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
Following the service will be a gathering held at Church of the Nazarene, 800 South Road, Fitchburg, MA.
