A GRAVESIDE SERVICE, WITH MILITARY HONORS, WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, APRIL 25th, 2026, AT 10;00 AM IN ST. LEO'S CEMETERY, LANCASTER STREET, LEOMINSTER, MA, FOR THERESA LOSEY. RELATIVES AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND. PLEASE MEET AT ST. LEO'S CEMETERY.
Leominster - Theresa (Zinna) Losey, 94, of Leominster, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 3, 2026, in Life Care Center of Leominster. She was born July 2, 1931, in Leominster, daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Lombardi) Zinna.
Theresa will be sadly missed by her loving children, Catherine Marshall; Marjorie LaValley and her husband, Kenny; Morita Olsen and her husband, Robert; Willard Losey Jr. and his wife, Amy; Theresa Davis and her husband, Lenny; Theodore Losey and his wife, Vicki; Chuck Losey; and Anthony Losey. She also leaves behind her 20 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many dear cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Willard Losey Sr.; her daughter, Sarah; and her siblings—sisters Jenny, Anna, Gloria, and Marjorie, and brothers Joe, Carmen, and John.
Theresa was a graduate of Leominster High School, Class of 1949, and remained very active in her class reunions for many years. She proudly served in the U.S. military Woman’s Army Corp during the Korean War. Over the years she was employed at Foster Grant, Leominster Plumbing and Heating and Worcester Telegram and Gazette. She was a longtime member of Saint Anna’s Church, where she also served as a religious educator and Eucharistic minister for many years. Theresa was a member of the Saint Anna’s Society, and Friends of the Library as well as a charter member of the Military Women’s Memorial. Her favorite pastime was relaxing at the beach. She enjoyed bowling, going to the movies with friends, reading and playing scrabble. She loved Neil Diamond’s music and found great joy in cooking for her family, proudly passing down her cherished recipes to her children and grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all of the caregivers at Life Care Center of Leominster for their compassion and care.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 6, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc. 109 West Street, Leominster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Saint Anna’s Church, 199 Lancaster St., Leominster. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of choice.
