Travis Teixeira Obituary

Travis A. Teixeira, 18, of Ashburnham, MA, passed away  on March 21, 2026, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.. Though his time here was far too short, Travis lived a life that left a lasting mark on everyone who knew and loved him.

Born on November 13, 2007, in Leominster, Massachusetts, Travis was the beloved son of April Quirk and Joshua Teixeira. He was a senior at Oakmont Regional High School, where he was admired for his intelligence, determination, and the natural way he led by example.

Travis was truly a light in this world. He was a leader, a mentor, and a source of encouragement to so many. He had a heart for helping others and was deeply involved in his community. Through his work at Blueprint and in Extended Day, Travis gave his time and energy to supporting those around him, always willing to step up, lend a hand, and make a difference. He was the kind of young man people looked up to — not only for what he accomplished, but for the kindness, compassion, and strength he carried every day.

He had an incredibly bright future ahead of him. Travis had been accepted into every college he applied to, a true reflection of his hard work, ambition, and the endless potential so many saw in him. He had dreams, goals, and a future filled with promise, which makes this loss all the more devastating for all who knew him.

Travis leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will hold him in their hearts forever. He is survived by his loving parents, April Quirk and Joshua Teixeira; his older brother; James, his two younger brothers, Cameron and William "Bubba" and his two younger sisters, Gabriella and Alaya. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, classmates, coworkers, mentors, and community members who were blessed to know him and who will forever carry his memory with them.

Travis was more than a son, brother, student, and friend — he was a bright light, a steady presence, and an inspiration to those around him. His passing has left an unimaginable void, not only in the hearts of his loved ones, but throughout the entire community. He will be remembered for the joy he brought, the lives he touched, and the incredible young man he was becoming.

Though Travis was taken far too soon, the legacy of his kindness, leadership, and love will continue to live on in the many lives he touched. He will forever be remembered and deeply missed.
