Vernon Dean Gelinas

Vernon Dean Gelinas 73 of Lunenburg passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in the Nashoba Valley Hospital in Ayer surrounded by family. He was born on October 13, 1950, in Leominster and was the son of the late Vernon P Gelinas Jr. and Pauline (Biron) Gelinas. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Joyce (Letourneau) Gelinas of Lunenburg; His two daughters, Laura Rainville and her husband David of Ashby, MA; Christine Bentas and her husband John of Epping, NH; his stepson, Sean Letourneau of Hattiesburg, MS, his three grandchildren, Kelsey, Michael and Lindsey Rainville of Ashby, MA , a sister Dianne (Gelinas) Little of Ashby, MA. and his two grand-dogs Clio and Rosie. Besides his parents, Dean was predeceased by a sister Linda (Gelinas) Puccia. At Dean's request there will be no funeral service. A private celebration of life will be planned by his family at a later date. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Dana Faber Cancer Center for their expert level care given to Dean.
