Wilhelmine (Reinstadler) Lanza

Leominster - Wilhelmine “Helmi” (Reinstadler) Lanza, 103, died October 17, 2025 at UMASS Memorial HealthAlliance-Hospital in Leominster.  Helmi was born on September 29, 1922; was the daughter of Edward and Ottilie (Kastel) Reinstadler.

Helmi is survived by her son, Harold Lanza of Fountain City, Indiana, two daughters, Angela Paulekas of Suffield, Connecticut and Christine Poirier of Florida; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Patricia Lanza of Fitchburg and a nephew, Robert Cruz of Leominster.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert J. Lanza, a daughter Mary Lanza and grandson, David Gentile from Pennsylvania.

A special thank you to Darlene Conti, Cheryl Gaudet, Paula Manson and Sandy LeBlanc’s whose unwavering compassion and dedication made Helmi’s last years comfortable and content.

A calling hour will be held Monday, October 27, 2025 in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA, from 9:30 - 10:30 am.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am, in St. Anna's Church, 199 Lancaster Street, Leominster, MA.. Burial will  follow at 2:00 pm in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA.
