Yolande "Yogie" (LeBlanc) Brideau

Leominster - Yolande “Yogie” Brideau, 78, of Leominster, died April 1, 2023, in Life Care Center of Leominster. She was born June 25, 1944, daughter of the late Ovila LeBlanc, and Rita (Nowlan) LeBlanc. Yogie was a caring mother and wife and provided a warm and nurturing home for her family. She also worked for many years in the courtesy booth at Market Basket where she was well loved by her coworkers and customers. Yogie had a love of cooking and was always looking for that new recipe to try and to share with friends and family. She also loved tending to her flower garden with her husband Fred. Sadly, her Alzheimer's became worse and worse until she finally succumbed to the disease.

Yogie is survived by her son; Alfred “A.J.” Brideau III of Leominster, her daughter; Andrea Bergeron and her husband Christopher of Fitchburg, four siblings; Claude LeBlanc and his wife Marie of Westminster, MA, Ronald LeBlanc Sr and his wife Kathy of Leominster, Annette McGrath and her husband Barry of Lunenburg, MA and Paul LeBlanc and his wife Joanne of Templeton, MA, along with her grandchildren; Molly Brideau, Audrey Brideau, Lindsey Brideau, Benjamin Bergeron and Jack Bergeron as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years Alfred “Fred” Brideau Jr., a daughter, Kristen Brideau and a niece Cara Kelly.

Yogie’s funeral will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home,Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic St., Leominster. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 10th, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
