Alfred R Aubuchon

Alfred R. Aubuchon 69 of Lunenburg and formerly of Leominster died Monday, September 9, 2019, in his childhood home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 14, 1950 in Leominster, MA. and was the son of the late Roland and Victorine (LeBlanc) Aubuchon. He graduated from St. Cecilia Elementary School and Leominster Trade High School Class of 1969. He worked as a supervisor for many years for the Rand Whitney Company and just before retiring he worked for Weetabix Corporation the last ten years. Alfred loved to continue and further his education by taking various certification classes in his industry, but most of all he cherished the time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alfred was man of many talents he enjoyed working on cars, doing at home projects,and always was there to lend a hand when needed. 

He is survived by his fiance Jean Murphy of Swanzey, NH and her children Eric Coates of Keene, NH, Kevin and Kristen Coates of Hebron, NH. His former wife and friend Cheryl (Bergeron) Aubuchon  of Lunenburg and their children Scott Aubuchon of Fitchburg, and Marlene Hoaglund and her husband Scott of Lunenburg,  their children Brandon Hoaglund Brody Hoaglund and their daughter Briana Abreu and  her husband Joseph Abreu and their children David and Sadie Abreu. He was a Dad to Holly and a  Grampa to Kayleigh and Eva Litchfield .  His sister's Pauline Towle, Jeanne Gallagher, and Agnes Hawkins all of Leominster, Theresa Poole of New York, Nancy Orni and her husband Peter of Ashburnham and Louise Stacy and her husband Jimmy  of Florida. His brother's Leo Aubuchon of Leominster, Francis "Frank" Aubuchon of Milford, MA and David Aubuchon and his wife Lynn of Florida, sister in laws Patricia Lefebvre, Claire Aubuchon and Betty Aubuchon all of Leominster, brother in laws Richard Bergeron of Fitchburg, and Roland Bergeron of Florida.  Many nieces, nephews and cousins.  His long time best friend Danny and Dee O'Malley, many other close friends who were a very important part of his life.   Alfred was predeceased by his brother's Norman Aubuchon, Omer Aubuchon, Joseph Aubuchon,  his sister in law Janice Aubuchon, and Barbara Aubuchon, and brother in laws Robert Hawkins, Kenwood Towle, Archie Lefebvre and Leon Gallagher. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 21, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Emanuel Lutheran Church 1200 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow in the church hall. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.  Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., Leominster, is directing arrangements .
